Welcome to my new website! Here I will consolidate everything under one roof as I have accepted the journey to become a writer (officially), that was laid before me. I have been writing off and on since I was young, but decided over two years ago I would commit to writing my first fantasy novel.
After spending the last 5 years of just immersing myself in other peoples worlds on my YouTube channel SmokeScreen, covering primarily George RR Martin’s A Song Of Ice And Fire (and therefore Game Of Thrones), that I should just create my own fantastic universe. A scene came to me and the land of Aahsgoth was born.
This site will also server as a blog I update from time to time, likely including writing and publishing tips and advice in correlation with video versions on the YouTube channel.
With that said typed, I will leave you with my latest tips video here; how to show vs. tell. Don’t tell your readers what is going on, let them deduce what is happening with action, body language, dialogue, etc.
